ICT Support Technician
1 Position

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Infrastructure management and support. i.e. LAN, WAN, servers, firewall/virus protection, systems backups and telephone systems
• System administration for email services, servers, PCs, networks and business applications.
• Carry out regular or preventative maintenance as required.
• Undertake ICT projects as assigned.
• ICT support services to staff.
• Help desk administration.

Key Qualifications

• Degree in Information Technology or related field from a recognized University.
• Professional qualifications on CISCO, HP, and VMware would be an added advantage.
• Good system diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Computer networking skills (LAN, WAN, MPLS)
• Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows, Linux).
• Conversant with virtualization technologies (VMware, XenServer).
• Knowledge of Database Management Systems (MSSQL, MYSQL).
