Underwriting Supervisor, Branch operations
The job holder is responsible for assisting in Evaluation of risks within underwriting guidelines and procedures and ensure excellent customer service and turnaround time
Key Responsibilities:
    Ensure underwriting guidelines and procedures are adhered to
    Give technical support to branches and ensure operations are smooth and within the underwriting
guidelines and procedures
    Analyzing  insurance proposals and making acceptable risk acceptance decisions
    Visiting branches, brokers, potential customers to maintain relationship and give underwriting solutions
    Support and ensure maximum business retention
    Support new business acquisition and handle quotation within agreed limits
    Liaising with specialists, such as risk surveyors for risk management
    Ensure documentations and done as per agreed service level agreement
    Ensure efficient and timely customer service and operations in general
    Ensure business and products performance are within acceptable loss ratio.
Key Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience:
    Business related degree
    Progress towards attaining professional qualification in Insurance (ACII or AIIK)
    Five  (5) years underwriting insurance experience
    Good analytical skills
    Computer knowledge
    Good communication skills
    Good understanding of general Insurance products
