Business Development Executive Job

Our client, a resort in Limuru is seeking to recruit a business development executive for the position of sales executive to sell conferences, wedding venues, weekend gate a ways, holiday packages, party venues and much more.

Other Roles
  • Achieves sales goals.
  • Develops and implements new/special market programs when needed.
  • Evaluates potential business for existing and new markets.
  • Communicates accurate information on in-house groups to help hotel associates service their needs most completely. Maintains daily contact with in-house groups.
  • Develops and maintains owner relations, as it relates to business opportunities.
  • Prepares specialized reports, as needed.
  • Understands forecasting month end reports, assists in compiling reports when needed.
  • Understand and work closely with Reservations Department to ensure target ceilings and rates are met.
  • Responsible for knowing and abiding by all department, hotel and company policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Diploma or degree in sales
  • Good command in English
  • Must have worked in the hospitality industry (sales) for at least 3 years i.e. hotel and/or conference center sales
  • Good knowledge of the NGO & SME’s market.
  • Ideally sold an out of town hotel services
