Spire Schools Marketing Account Manager Job

Spire Schools – Marketing Account Manager

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Department: Marketing

Type: Full Time

Min. Experience: Mid Level
Imagine a world in which every young person in Kenya and across Africa attends a school that truly
sets them up for success in the 21st century.
Imagine that this school demands excellence, equips students with globally competitive science and technology skills, nurtures students’ independent thinking and creativity, and builds the character that will shape their careers and lives.
Imagine that this school is not in one town, in one country, but in every town, in every country. This is what Spire imagines, and we want you to help make it happen.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to build and manage the relationships that will be critical to our ability to reach thousands of young people. You will be the frontline of our engagement with parents, students, and communities.
You will build strong relationships with leaders of churches, primary schools, and other key institutions and use those relationships to engage parents whose children can benefit from our school.
This is an opportunity to play a important role in creating a transformative education model with the future of Africa’s youth at stake. About Spire

Spire was founded with a simple idea: truly world-class education does not need to be available only to Africa’s elite.
We believe it is now possible to build an education model across Africa that delivers learning equal to the best schools in the world at a cost that is accessible to working families.
We think that model will combine a focus on building independent critical thinking, active and practice-based learning, and deep investment in developing teachers who guide student-driven learning rather than lecturing.
And it would blend the best online learning resources globally with outstanding in-person instruction. We are launching a new venture to reimagine secondary education. Beginning with our first school launch in Nairobi this coming January, we aim to build one of the first scaled network of high-quality, affordable secondary schools in sub-Saharan Africa.

Africa has the fastest-growing youth population in the world and a rapidly expanding middle class, but its education systems are not ready to unleash what could be the transformative generation of talent that permanently changes the face of the continent.
We aspire to be among the first to show at scale that this is possible. Our team culture is designed to reinforce our vision:
We model the growth mindset we want our students to embody: you are challenged every day and, as a result, you grow more than at any other point in your life
We pursue excellence in every detail and do whatever it takes to produce great work quickly
We are radically open: we share tough messages and our own vulnerabilities because doing so helps us grow
We put our students before our team, and our team before ourselves
We bring infectious energy, enthusiasm and fun to everything we do because joy fuels the hardest work and learning
About your RoleYou will be one of the first members of our marketing team.
