Position: Strategic Partnership Manager

Reporting to: Head of Business Consulting, Commercial & Partnership

Range: R2U

Department: Business Market
Role Purpose: She/he will oversee the conceptualization, planning, development and implementation of strategic partnerships in a bid to offer and increase value added solution to TKL existing
commercial offers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities


  • Lead implementation of various initiative cross-functionally, identify roadblocks and provide recommendation for partners
  • Manage TKL strategic partners, maintain relationships at the executive levels and across the organization
  • Develop strategic partnership plan with an eye towards identifying creative initiatives
  • Ensure partners are fulfilling their contractual obligation and TKL is providing the required support.
  • Develop a joint business plan for the Partner that defines each go-to-market initiative with key sponsors from the Partner and relevant individuals from TKL. Quarterly review of the plan with milestone metrics and progress tracking mechanism
  • Oversee effective quarterly closing cycles with TKL partners
  • Develop effective governance to management at Partner and TKL on major deals
  • Develop and own relationships with senior Partner sponsors, drive alignment with TKL
  • Be key source of insight into Partner landscape / news
  • Collaborate with Marketing on joint go-to-market plan
  • Lead the development of joint solution offerings
  • Work with Commercial team to grow run-rate business
Responsibilities / Managerial activities
  • Coordinate the work plans of the commercial teams assigned to various segments within the sector
  • Provide leadership to the commercial team by mentoring, motivating, encouraging, and delivering results; Responsible for building and growing the team; Plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations
  • To realize the job descriptions for all new jobs that will appear in his/her team
  • To update the job descriptions for all the jobs in his/ her team if there are any changes in the activity of the team
  • Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures; Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines
Academic / Professional Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Commerce (or equivalent) from a recognised university
  • Master’s degree will be an added advantage
  • Membership in related professional regulatory body
  • Certifications accreditation in relevant areas
  • 4 to 6 years’ experience in partnership management with a professional service organization
