Our client, a 3 star hotel located in Garden Estate, off Thika road is seeking to recruit the following position:Storekeeper
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the incumbent will be in-charge of inventory management in the hotel.Suitable candidates MUST have the following minimum qualifications:
A diploma in Store keeping or procurement from a recognized institution
5 years work experience in the hospitality industry 2 of which should be in the stores management.
Experience in use of stock management software
Good organizational and communication skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Receiving and inspecting all incoming hotel materials and reconciling with purchase orders
- Responsible for day-to day checking of the storage facilities for upkeep and hygiene
- Responsible for storing of both food & beverage and operational stock.
- Following standards for issuing and receiving stock within the stores
- Coordinating with the Finance Officer on operational control and restocking levels
- Any other business as may be assigned by management
