Job Advert: IT Support Analyst, Nairobi, Kenya
Context: CfBT Education Trust is a UK Charitable organisation providing Education Solutions worldwide.
The organisation seeks to improve children’s life potential through the continuous improvement of the schooling experience by the investment in school management, school assessment and teacher training.
CfBT has been undertaking such work in Sub Saharan Africa for a number of years and is looking for an experienced IT Field Support Analyst to support this work in their office in Nairobi, Kenya.
The Job: CfBT have an exciting opportunity for a pro-active IT professional to join their international team.
The successful individual will oversee all aspects of the Nairobi office IT infrastructure in terms of Application and Desktop support services.
In addition the Field Support Analyst will be the initial point of contact for troubleshooting all IT related issues.
The Person: The successful candidate will be the stand alone IT Support Analyst within the regional office and therefore should be skilled in the broad range of IT support including PC, Networks, Server, VoIP, hardware, software, security and handheld technologies.
We are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic self-starter who has excellent interpersonal skills and can
communicate at all levels through all mediums.
The IT Field Support Analyst will multitask, prioritise and adapt to emerging technologies.
The IT Support Analyst will provide guidance and advice on appropriate purchases for procurement and will be able to project manage from concept to implementation.
Ideally the successful candidate should be educated to a minimum of a University degree in an IT related discipline, with 3 -5 years of hands-on experience within a similar job role.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate both understanding and application experience with:
MS Office 2007/10, Office 365, Lync,
Windows 7, Antivirus, Ghost, Internet Explorer,
Active Directory,
Android/Windows Mobile Devices/iOS mobile device support.
Citrix, Remote Assistance/Remote Desktop.
HP Desktop/Laptops.
Multi-function Printers,
ERP,
PABX and IP Telephony Support
