We are pleased to announce the following vacancy within the Finance Division. In keeping with our
current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria below:

Senior Manager – Decision Support

Reporting to the Head of Department – Business Planning & Commercial Support, the role holder is responsible for providing swift, but simple and easy to understand, analytical and insightful financial support and information for all internal business decisions by partnering with the different divisions in a proactive manner to drive faster turnaround of product offerings capital investments and enhanced benchmarking for key business activities & processes.
 
Desired Skills and Experience

• Develop a benchmarking database references that can be used as a reference across the business
• Establish a project methodology with stakeholders across the business to ensure any input required from Decision support is well thought through and timely and build in to the project deliverables.
• Develop Analytical dashboards for Revenues & Margins using high level drivers
• Track post project implementation to ensure returns as anticipated during project formulation are achieved.
• Work with various divisions to develop comprehensive templates that take all KPIs for the business to ensure no elements are overlooked
• Develop and enhance capital budgeting model to make it easy to review and use.
• Ensure project reports are availed on a timely basis to aid in cash flow planning and review. Develop and automate project status report milestones that will enhance faster review of cashflow implementations of various project investments under the different asset categories.
• Ensure ROI for all asset categories is properly defined and enhanced to drive returns for capital investments.
• Attend all CDI monthly review meeting to ensure development of the budget plan takes into consideration issues highlighted under CDI as requiring improvement and their impact on the budget.
• Implement procedures to ensure the timely comparison and reconciliation of information received from various systems that is used in statistical reporting from the Business intelligence system.
• Ensure all new process introduced within the departments are clearly documented as per ISO requirements
• Ensure all ISO audits for the section are carried out in a timely manner.
• Ensure all information security protocols regarding access and use of information generated from business planning is secure and the risk information plans are implemented as required by the risk department.
• Represent Business Planning in the launch of new products which require integration of information into Business Intelligence system.
• Develop and maintain succession planning within the Capital Projects, Business Intelligence & Product Analysis sections; ensure relevant staff training is undertaken; ensure the personal and business development of the staff within the department to benefit both the staff and the company.

Minimum Requirements

• Qualified Accountant with CPA (K)/ACCA/CIMA/ACA with an honours degree from a recognized university; OR a reputable internationally recognized 1st degree but with an MBA /CFA qualification.
• 5-7 years accounting experience in an international company or FMCGI
• A minimum of 2 years management experience with exposure in overseeing business analytics and projects investment;
