Safaricom Limited Job Vacancy in Kenya : Senior Manager – Campaign Management
Job description
We are pleased to announce the following vacancy in the within the Consumer Business Division. In keeping with our current business needs, we are looking for a person who meets the criteria indicated below:
Reporting to the Head of department Consumer Segments, the position holder will be responsible for all strategy and execution of Safaricom’s one to one customer marketing efforts to increase % active and revenue earning customer base as well as reduction in Customer churn. S/He will manage the implementation of campaign management tools and ensure extraction of business benefits from the campaign management tool.
Key Responsibilities:
• Single point of contact and execution for all Safaricom one to one below The Line marketing efforts
• Responsible for creating and driving value propositions to acquire new customers.
• Below the line marketing strategy and customer acquisition /Sim based offers.
• Kindergarten programs to on-board new Safaricom customers when joining the network
• Design and execution of Below the Line campaigns some examples e.g Value droppers campaigns, ARPU enhancement programs, Customer rate enhancement programs and Customer inactivity management
• Manage and Govern the Flytxt delivery of BTL campaigns
• Work with product and segment owners to develop and execute BTL marketing programs for introducing to customers of new product / segment initiatives, initiatives to drive uptake and penetration of existing products and segment initiatives
• Manage customer churn by running customer inactivity campaigns
• BTL execution of the loyalty management scheme
• Work with the Analytics team to ensure the BI evolves to meet the analytical needs of BTL marketing
• Create comprehensive framework of Safaricom’s BTL customer communication policy.
Desired Skills and Experience
• Degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance or IT
• At least 3 years running below the Line marketing actions and campaigns in a Telco environment
• At least 2 years’ experience in team management and BTL campaign management delivery system experience
• At least 5 to 7 years Telco experience with deep understanding of Telco billing, data mining and reporting systems.
• Very strong focus on Customer insights and proven ability to combine numbers and analytics to understand, predict and influence customer behavior
• Flair for numbers is a must
• Strong awareness of market trends, competitive impacts and market opportunities.
• Innovative and creative Achievement oriented.
• Must be confident and presentable with Strong interpersonal, people and communication skills.
• .Highly organized, conscientious and detail oriented.
