We’re hiring! Receptionist
Full-Time: Nairobi, KenyaKopo Kopo is transforming the way merchants and their customers interact in emerging markets.
Kopo Kopo is leveraging the wildly successful mobile money systems in emerging markets like East
Africa to build a merchant services platform that includes mobile payment acceptance, CRM and other value-added services.The purpose of this position is to assist Kopo Kopo in making the best first and last impression possible, facilitate seamless daily operations of the office and enhance the F.A.I.R. (Fun, Agile, Innovative, Responsible) corporate image.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining general office security by following procedures; monitoring logbook, biometrics system and liaising with building security
  • Coordinating daily, weekly or monthly conference room bookings and office deliveries including mail, branding materials, office supplies, mineral water and Friday lunch
  • Welcoming visitors and notifying company personnel of visitor arrival; answering telephone calls and referring inquiries
  • Scheduling office maintenance of blinds, office furniture, office storage etc
  • Making travel and accommodation bookings for Kopo Kopo employees and other visitors to the company
  • Providing administrative support to merchant operations and accounts team when and as required
Desired Skills & Experience
  • A Diploma/Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • At least 2 years relevant work experience
  • Procurement and basic accounting experience a plus
  • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills
  • Excellent communicator
  • Customer focus
  • Ability to multi-task, work effectively and efficiently under pressure in a rapidly changing and dynamic organisation
