Summary: Our client is a leading corporate law firm with a regional network. They are seeking to recruit a focused, dynamic, self-driven professional of high integrity to fill the position of an IT Technical Support.
Job Summary: To provide IT technical support in the firm so as to ensure all IT functions in the office are taken care of.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor the firm’s informative management and communication systems and components including email server, internet server, network, switches, routers and to ensure maximum productivity of these systems and components.
- Implement help desk tools/solutions in line with user requirements and develop necessary measures to prevent frequently occurring outages
- Resolve end user issues related to hardware, network and communication systems.
- Provide training to users for applications
- Initiate awareness on efficient and effective working ways for end users on how end users can secure their systems
- Monitor and track performance of the services provided by third party providers and address any under-performance that may result in failure to achieve the SLAs with the delivery teams
- To carry out any updates in the website, to ensure search engine optimization of the firm’s website
- Carrying out an analysis on the IT requirements of the firm, advising partners on improvements, practical solutions, required procurement
- Sourcing for various IT services and equipment suppliers, comparing the prices and advising the Admin Manager on best suppliers of services and equipment based on market rates and value of goods
- Liaising with identified providers to ensure that preventive maintenance (both periodic and predictive) and corrective maintenance are carried out
- To ensure the confidentiality and security of the firm’s and clients’ documentation and information
- At least a Bachelor’s degree in IT
- At least 2 years relevant experience
- Knowledge of a wide variety of application systems
- Good planning, organizational and analytical skills
