We are currently recruiting for our client a group of companies in the FMCG industry .
Energy Coordinator Job
Key Result Areas:

• Identify, recommend, and promote energy conservation sustainability initiatives and practices throughout the company, involving Energy commitee, appropriate staff and departments in key strategies and goals.
• Lead initiatives in design and construction practices and energy, recycling, waste reduction in all production processes (energy per ton production)
• Recommend and assists in the facilitation and implementation of changes and improvements.
• Plan, regulate and monitor the energy use in the company aim to improve efficiency by evaluating energy use and putting in place new policies and changes where needed.
• Developing alternative cheaper energy technology sources that are sustainable
• Promoting energy conservation schemes
• Producing specifications, estimates, drawings, feasibility studies and work schedules on energy related capital expenditure.
• Analyzing the company Energy data and collating information
• maintaining accurate records
• writing energy saving plans and reports
• Organizing Energy committee meetings and events
• undertaking energy surveys/site inspections
• keeping up to date with changes in legislation and initiatives, including ERC energy performance directives
• promoting energy conservation awareness via events such as presentations, workshops and conservation projects
• Benchmarking energy consumptions against best practice guidelines
• Knowledge, skills, attitudes and experience for Energy Coordinator Jobs in Kenya

Minimum undergraduate degree in Science/Technology

• 3-5 years of experience in Energy conservation
• Certification as an energy auditor will be an added advantage
• Interest in alternative energy
• Must exhibit proficiency in computer use, Excel, word, power point. Use of statistical software Minitab and engineering drawing tools such as MS Visio will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work autonomously in a rapidly changing environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work in multisectoral/multicultural teams
