testing equipment, workshop concepts, power tools, and security systems and has planned expansion to Algeria, Angola, Ghana, Mozambique, and NigeriaThe Role: Robert Bosch East Africa (RBEA) seeks to fill the position of Logistic Manager-East Africa. In this role you will be responsible for managing logistics within the region to ensure efficient and timely delivery of Power Tools to respective Customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and assure performance of distribution logistics of Bosch Power Tools in the East Africa region
- Monitor, support & steer of logistics service providers for warehousing and transportation and logistics customer interfaces
- Budget holder for Logistics and distribution (incl. business planning)
- Act as an interface between logistics service providers and customers
- Assure implementation of Power Tools and customer’s logistics requirements and continuous improvement of logistic processes
- Manage Import and export processes of responsible region
- Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar
- Profound knowledge of distribution logistics and supply chain management
- Practical experience in warehousing and/or transportation (ideally at a logistics service provider)
- Strong IT-Skills (e.g. MS Excel)
- Analytical thinking
- Autonomous, responsible, reliable, and self-motivated
- Entrepreneurial mindset, communication skills, intercultural competency
- Results oriented, self motivated, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Availability to Travel within Kenya and to other African countries
