The Public Relations Officer will be responsible for managing a public relations department along with its staff, Directs publicity programs and campaigns, improves public image of organization, and clarifies organization’s point of view on important issues.
Primary responsibilities
- Manage public relations department.
- Recruit, hire, train, and manage PR specialists.
- Evaluate and implement promotion programs.
- Develop PR strategies, campaigns, and initiatives to improve public perception of the organization
- Improve management and employee relations.
- Prepare and publish newsletters and other company literature.
- Create motivational videos.
- Produce annual reports on financial status of organization.
- Draft speeches with chief executives.
- Respond to information queries from media and the general public.
- Write press releases and media kits.
- Manage organization sponsorships.
- Maintain effective working relationships with local and municipal government officials and media representatives.
- Formulate policies and procedures related to public information programs.
- Manage an organization’s reputation with the public in general and clients.
- Manage communications budgets.
- Confer with the labor relations managers in order to develop internal communications to inform employees of various company activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum One Year’ Experience in a Public Relations Office
- Can speak, read, and write English language
- Must have a Degree in Relevant field
- Team Player, Fast Learner Maturity
Remunerations:
Gross salary: USD 2740 – USD 2950/ month depending on skills and level of relevant experience. NSSF, airtime and transportation allowances, work computer, benevolent fund, and two weeks leave after every six months of service.
