We seek to recruit an experienced, competent and self-motivated individual with excellent leadership skills, who will form the core team that will deliver on our strategic intent to fill the following position:-
Manager – Assurance
Job Purpose: Lead the Assurance team in financial and audit services engagements that add value to client organizations.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Execute complex audit procedures and lead engagement teams in audit assignments.
  • Manage assurance engagements by defining the audit strategy in consultation with the Senior Manager /Partner, and execute it in compliance with company policies and protocols.
  • Manage projects and engagements profitably by leading the team to perform efficiently.
  • Examine client financial and accounting records, other documents and tangible items such as plant and equipment or watching certain processes or procedures being performed
  • Test clients organizations’ internal control frameworks and provide appropriate advice
  • Make judgments on significant estimates or assumptions made by client management when preparing financial reports.
  • Understand the audit clients’ industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments. Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the audit client.
  • Develop and maintain long-term productive client relationships and networks both internally and externally and establish expectations of value to be delivered.
  • Generate new audit business opportunities by understanding the company and its service lines and actively assess/present ways to apply knowledge and services.
  • Monitor the assurance team’s progress against the plan and alter it when needed
  • Coach and develop the engagement team by sharing knowledge with team members and helping team members attain experiences that cultivate technical competencies.
  • Use technology to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/ Accounting
  • CPA(K) / ACCA
  • MBA Finance/ Accounting will be an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years of audit experience.
