Job Description
• Develop and Implement Strategies to deliver Superior Sales performance for all Segments in Priority, Business Clients, Personal and Employee Banking
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Deliver budgeted business volume and sales productivity.1. Draw up strategies and manage the performance delivery for all sales channels.
2. Develop sales strategies for all customer segments: Priority, Business Clients and Personal Clients.
3. Establish and address agenda of top issues/opportunities to improve performance and growth ensuring a robust sales/performance management system for optimal productivity & efficiency.
4. Build organization and management team capable of delivering distinctive sales performance through organizing activities according to the key performance drivers.
5. To drive, motivate & inspire Sales Managers and Team leaders to achieve their planned sales activities and targets.
6. Ensure regular units visit & build close rapport relationship with referral sources and Alliances partner .
7. Ensure adequate control on payment of incentive/commission to sale staff .
8. Work collaboratively to resolve issues across business/functions in ways that maximize performance for Retail Clients overall .
9. Plan, drive and monitor NTB Channels sales strategies.
10. Establish and address agenda of top issues / opportunities to improve performance and growth ensuring a robust people and performance management system for optimal productivity and efficiency.
Customer Experience
1. Create right sales culture and direction that match the Bank’s strategy.
2. Owner of sales processes and practices, responsible for approval & sales controllable error rates, TAT etc.
3. Being measured against overall customer satisfaction scoring, at the same time ensure that the monitoring process is clearly defined.
4. Responsible for embedding a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.
People Management
1. Ensure organization structure & people programs appropriate to deliver plans
2. Ensure an effective and competitive fixed to variable, quantitative to qualitative compensation scheme across sales teams and levels.
3. To drive motivate and inspire Sales Managers and Team Leaders to achieve their planned sales activities.
4. Implement effective HR standards and strategies, manage succession plan, retain key talent, constant discipline in performance management
5. Engage Learning Academy to address training needs, implement training roadmaps .
6. Ensuring alignment of the Businesses sales capacity and effectiveness toward its financial objectives; making recommendations for approval and executing the agreed Sales Model for the country.
7. Ensure HR Policies continue to be reviewed and complied with by the sales staff
8. Implement and embed a high performance culture through robust performance management and differentiated reward and recognition.
Risk management & control
1. Responsible for managing opportunity and risk associated with the Sales teams
2. Build adequate processes in the Sales function and structure to prevent mis-selling, misrepresentation, fraud and adhere to customer protection principles and Treating Customers fairly.
3. Ensure a 100% compliance with rules and regulations, ensure adherence to operational risk controls and procedures in day-to-day sub-channel management .
4. Ensure that risk assurance processes are in place across the segments to provide evidence of proactive risk management of the Risk Type and compliance with policy.
5. Ensure that the Risk Type is properly represented at the relevant Business/ Country Risk Committees.
6. Ensure that Risk Management responsibilities and processes for the Risk Type are properly communicated across the Business/ Country to all staff impacted
Qualifications & Skills
• University Degree backed by very strong formal banking and management training .
• Minimum 7 years experience in financial services industry.
• Have played senior role in branches, New Business equivalent, Contact Centre management or Remote Banking.
• In-depth knowledge in all Retail Clients products.
• Strategic thinker, with proven large team management capability
• In depth knowledge of products, sales, services, delivery channels and customer segments.
• Good communication skills both written and oral and the ability to work independently without close supervision.
• Very good knowledge and understanding of the Group Policies, Standards, local regulations and legislations on the prevention of money laundering.
