As part of expansion within Individual Life Sales – Department, we invite suitable candidates to apply for the following job opportunities:
Job Title: Sales Manager (2 Vacant Positions)
Duty Station: Thika and Embu Branch Offices
Reporting to: Business Development Manager – Agency Distribution
General Description of Pan Africa Sales Job Role
The main focus of this position is to recruit, train, develop, motivate, and manage productivity, of the unit managers and sales agents to achieve agreed business goals while ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
The essential duties and responsibilities will be:
Overseeing the development of profitable business operations of all the units under the branch office.
Developing clear and innovative strategies for market growth and development of new markets
Ensuring that the branch operations comply with the Company’s standards, policies and procedures.
Assisting in designing appropriate sales promotions, competitions and incentive schemes
Ensuring that all Unit Managers and agents under him/her meet the performance objectives set out in the
Company’s annual manpower and sales budget
Identifying and developing new distribution outlets
Coordinate training and development of the sales team
Preparation of branch monthly reports
Pan Africa Life Sales Job qualifications
Business related degree or post graduate qualification would be desirable
3 years experience in insurance sales management. Prior experience in managing a branch would be desirable.
COP qualification is a must
Any other relevant professional training such as ACII, LOMA, AIIK or CIM will be an added advantage
Demonstrate good business development skills
Team player with excellent leadership and communication skills
Excellent computer skills How to Apply
