Set up in 1954, The Kenya Institute of Management (KIM) is the leading not-for-profit management and business development organization in the Region.
Our mission is to promote excellence and integrity in the practice of management in Kenya and beyond. We do this through management training, research and consultancy with branches in Nairobi, Mombasa, Nakuru, Eldoret, Kisumu, Kakamega, Kericho, Kisii, Thika, Nyeri, Embu, Machakos, Narok, Meru, Kapsabet, Kabarnet, Naivasha, Nyahururu, Chuka and in Rwanda.
The Institute is seeking to recruit results-oriented and self-driven experienced professionals to join our team in the following positions:
Training Officer – Kakamega Branch
Purpose of the Training Job
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the training programmes done by all KIM Diploma students adhere to the Institute’s requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist the Branch Manager drive the strategic plans and budget of the branch.
Assist in recruitment of lecturers for the branch and supervise the teaching.
Supervise and monitor the training and examinations of KIMSOM products.
Ensure effective implementation of the tuition timetable.
Maintaining of students’ database.
Ensuring proper orientation of new students on the KIMSOM rules and regulations and coordinate student activities within the branch.
Promote and popularize other Institute’s products and services within the region.
Handle all enquiries on the Institute services and communicate customer needs to the relevant authorities.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience Required
Minimum of a Master’s degree in a Business related field.
Not less than 3 years’ experience in a related field.
Professional qualifications in a related field will be an added advantage.
Highly proficient in computer applications.
