Job Title: FMCG Head of Sales

Location: Embakasi, Nairobi
Salary: Kshs 400K grossOur client is an international company that processes natural flavor ingredients for foods and beverages.
They have presence in over 70 countries in the world with over 2500 employees.
As part of their business growth plan, they are opening a plant in Kenya that will serve the Southern and Eastern Africa Market.
As such they are seeking to hire a Head of Sales with exposure in the Southern and East Africa markets.Responsibilities:
Lead Client acquisition and retention process.
Planning and budgeting for all sales and marketing related activities.
Formulate and implement sales and marketing strategies that will result to improved sales.
Establish and strengthen our business in the southern and eastern parts of Africa.
Implementation of innovational sales strategies in collaboration with Wild management.
Leading and steering of sales support activities related to established and newly acquired customers.
Establish and expand long term customer relationship.
Manage all projects proactively, meeting deadlines and customer‘s expectations.
Prioritization of projects to achieve the expectations of the customers.
Think and act commercially, understand customer needs and challenges and support technical sales and customers in selecting the right products.
Implement an effective feedback processes to ensure customer’s concerns are addressed.
Support the sales team through regular training and coaching.
Generate relevant reports on sales and marketing activities including sales volumes.
Skills and Requirements:
A degree in business economics, sales and marketing or business administration with Food and beverage technical background
Experience managing sales in the southern and East Africa Markets would be a game changer
7+ years of experience at a senior management level preferably in FMCG/Pharmaceutical/Hospitality industry.
Proven experience in leading a sales team or department.
Has ability to Work independently and highest international beverage standards.
Ability to make decisions.
Build up and keep excellent customer contacts.
Communicate effectively (with customers and colleagues) must be fluent in English
Excellent sensory skills and passion to work with food and beverages.
