Job Title: Assistant Baker
Location: Nairobi
Salary: KShs.10,000
Main Duties
Assist and help in the preparation and production of products by company specifications and instructions in the time frame.
Treat and process raw materials and ingredients
Prepare different dough and mixtures according to production recipes under the baker’s supervision.
Produce and apply decorations on bakery products under supervisions
Fill and maintain presentation stock
Stock or sell products
Help in the bakery or customer service when required
Get delivery date and ensure that documents comply with requests.
Receive deliveries and verify that the delivered goods match weight and shape mentioned in the catalogue.
Provide services to meet a high level of customer satisfaction.
Manage spoilage, turnovers and inventory of stocks and goods
Clean, maintain and make simple repairs to machinery and equipment used in bakery.
Qualifications:
Must be able to work as a team with the Head Baker and Management to prioritize tasks and have all work completed in a timely manner.
Candidates must have a strong work ethic and be customer service oriented with very good communication skills.
Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.
Must be dependable, responsible, and confident.
