*** Finance Manager who have had experience in handling inventories and ideally food industry ***
Reporting to the Financial Controller with dotted line to Program Head, the incumbent will supervise and manage all accounting and financial activities relating to the development, implementation, reporting and close out of assigned project. The successful candidate will provide high level support to the Project Manager and other division managers.
Key Accountabilities & Deliverables:
Effectively Communicate with Project Managers (PM) and Principals-in-Charge (PIC), regarding, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals, and any other additional services related to billing.
Maintain and supervise the billing folders for all projects, with all the appropriate documents, including expenses, consultant invoices, and monthly invoices, in accordance with standard procedures.
Advise the accounts payable team on client billing and reimbursable expenses.
Generate and distribute bi-monthly receivables reports and monthly profitability reports.
Prepare, manage and review all financial information including budgets.
Articulate Risks and opportunities.
Compare Input results to output or actual results to aid the company Management in measuring financial performance.
Manage and resolve a variety of financial issues relating to supply chain management.
Act as an authorized signatory to the expenditure related to the project.
Create financial reports specifically designed to track the financial progress of Projects, Programs, and Portfolios, which can be used by the Management Team to achieve the organizational strategic objectives.
Create and review the controls needed for data accumulation and reporting systems.
Investigate cycle counting variances and resolve issues
Ensure compliance with internal policy and local legislation.
Update standard costs in the bill of materials
Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and Variance.
Any other special financial tasks associated with the project.
Desired Skills and Experience
Capability Requirements
Degree in Finance/Cost accounting with Project Management skills (ICWA).
PMP Preferred.
Experience with UN/ Military projects
Food Services Experience preferred.
Knowledge
Good Understanding of tax and Statutory requirements.
Possess good problem solving analysis

Experience:

Strong service orientation.
Knowledge of the project structure in a client/consultant business environment.
