Our client is currently seeking to fill a position of a Operations Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• Directing and coordinating production, pricing, sales, and/or distribution of products
• Managing staff, preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties
• Establishing and implementing departmental policies, goals, objectives, and procedures, conferring with board members, organization officials, and staff members as necessary
• Ensuring efficient and effective service delivery budgetary limits
• Overseeing activities directly related to making products or providing services
• Managing the movement of goods into and out of production facilities
• Developing and implementing product marketing strategies including advertising campaigns and sales promotions
• Involved in formulating procedures for procurement of both production (raw materials) and non production items (NPI)
• Planning and setting Production Targets
• In charge of Maintenance Schedules and Practices
• Developing both individual and group skills in Operational Excellence
• Managing the operational aspects of the factory comprising multiple production processes and ancillary operations to ensure that customer delivery and quality expectations
• Making sure that manufacturing processes run smoothly, are cost-effective and deliver products on time.
• Coordinating, guiding and reviewing daily, weekly and monthly plant production and maintenance activities.
• Providing input for strategic business and project goals as well as capital expenditure planning.
• Controlling expenditure in adherence to the operational budget and in line with the plant operations

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering Industrial/Mechanical
• 3-5 years experience in similar or related roles
