Our client is a leading regional company dealing in signage production and installation in petroleum retail, automotive and banking sectors.
The company is based in Nairobi, Kenya and is seeking to hire a qualified and experienced Graphic Designer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpreting the clients’ business needs and developing a concept to suit their purpose;
- estimating the time required to complete the work and providing quotes for clients
- developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research
- thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
- using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
- proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work
- contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
- demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches
- keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs
- developing interactive designs
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or equivalent
- Minimum of three years working experience as a graphic designer in an agency
- Proficiency using design softwares eg Corel draw, Adobe photo shop & Adobe illustrator ,MS Office Products
- Digital experience a plus
- Strong multi-tasking skills for juggling multiple projects with varying deadlines
- Ability to independently adhere to project calendar, manage time, and prioritize daily workload
- Team player who can inspire and positively contribute the company culture
