Position: Research & Development Assistant

Purpose of the Positions: To collect, analyze and compile data and offer support to Research and Development department
Functional Responsibilities:

• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of experiments and investigations
• Collect, analyses and compile data
• Carry out sensory evaluations
• Supervise trials

Required Qualifications

• Holder of a Diploma/ Bachelor degree from a recognized University in Food science
• Have 2 years’ experience in R & D Assistant in a Food Manufacturing industry
• Proven experience in sensory evaluation

Competencies

• Creative energy, self-starting; ability to manage multiple assignments with an attention to detail; confidentiality, good listening ability and technical understanding.
• Ability to work individually and as a member of a team.
• Ability to assert oneself and ask questions and find answers.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Excellent computer skills.
