Packhouse Manager Job in Kenya – Fresh Produce Processing Company

An upcoming organic fresh produce processing Company is looking for an aggressive, focused and committed individual to fill the following position

Position: Packhouse Manager

Roles


  • Organize and manage the process of production ensuring that the highest levels of HACCP hygiene and food safety standards are adhered to.
  • Coordinate production of farm produce
  • Coordinate and Plan planting calendars, in liaison with farmers on the production and supply of fresh produce to the park house,
  • Supervise the production and operation teams at the packhouse
  • Coordinate deliveries to the market
  • Look out for new markets and actively be in charge of business development
  • Overall management of all the operations of the park house and reporting directly to the Directors.
Qualifications:
  • Must have good management skills
  • Good in personnel management, good team leader.
  • Proficient in IT
  • Masters or Bachelors in food processing, Agriculture or related fields.
  • Knowledge of organic agriculture will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar position.
  • 35-45 years of age
  • Should work with minimum or no supervision
  • Should be result oriented and able to meet measurable performance targets.
