Pack House Manager Job

 We are a rapidly growing agribusiness company with a presence in Nairobi, Kitengela and Molo.
We grow market and sell fresh farm produce within Kenya targeting both the wholesale and retail market segments.

In order to effectively achieve our goal, we are looking to recruit for the following position:

Pack House Manager

Job Description:

• The candidate should have experience with quality and food safety management.
• He must have above average people skills and ability to improve productivity.
• The successful candidate must have previous experience with vegetable pack house management and logistics.
• He/she must have above average people skills and ability to improve productivity.
• He also must have knowledge of fresh produce and materials handling, production and production planning, lay out and flow dynamics of a vegetable pack house, client requirements and client service, basic food safety and packing methodology.

Responsibilities:

• Management of people
• Compliance production planning
• Good manufacturing practices
• Quality assurance
• Audits maintenance
• Proper waste disposal

Qualifications

• Minimum of a diploma in food science or a related field
• Computer literacy
• Required medical adequacy with documentation
• Fluency in English and Swahili
• Excellent communication skills
• Good management skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Very high integrity
• Verifiable references that can attest to the candidates professional background (2)
