Duties and Responsibilities
- Effectively and efficiently investigate election matters.
- To head and supervise investigations undertaken by the commission.
- The collection, tabulation and recording of history and data concerning criminal, undesirable and suspicious persons in electoral units relating to individual and matters calling for special enquiry.
- Conducting correspondence and interchange of reports on election matters with the commission.
- The investigation of complicated criminal offences and furnishing of assistance to Commission in cases of inquiries presenting difficult feature
- The supervision, where desirable, of individuals during election period.
- Degree holder in criminal prosecution from a recognized university.
- Being a police inspector or former prosecutor is an additional advantage.
- At least 3 years’ experience, preferably in criminal investigations.
- Ability to engage in Dispute Resolution.
- Computer literate.
- Team player.
- Integrity Clearance

Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP)
Chief Executive Officer, Higher Education Loans Board
Professional bodies (where applicable) to which the applicant belongs e.g. LSK, ICPAK, AAK, IEK etc
Credit Reference Bureau Africa Ltd or Metropol Credit Reference Bureau
Security Clearance: All shortlisted applicants may be subjected by the Commission to a security clearance by National Intelligence Service (NIS)
