Easy Taxi is operating in Kenya for almost 2 years. During this period, lots of accomplishments were made in order to bring an innovative transportation solution for Kenyans and improvements in the local taxi industry. We are aiming to transform the lives of our passengers and drivers by creating a world class service level.
WHAT YOU WILL DO AS MANAGING DIRECTOR OF KENYA
The position of Managing Director is the most challenging job inside AIG. It demands dedication, focus, leadership and discipline. We expect the perfect candidate to be a leader and bring Easy Taxi Kenya to the next level.
Your position as Managing Director entails:
- Lead a team of +20 people;
- Create local marketing strategies;
- Develop user growth campaigns;
- Improve customer experience;
- Represent Easy Taxi at local events/Media and local PR;
- Guarantee quality and efficiency of supply (our drivers);
- Expand our operations in other Kenyan cities through our best practices;
- Support product development;
- Hustle, hustle and hustle to continuously increase revenues and rides.
ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Action oriented and results oriented;
Strong analytical skill;
Strong inter-personal/communication skills: Fast learner;
Well organized;
Resistant to the stress;
Very independent with a strong ability to go further than the expectations;
HANDS ON(we are not dentists, our business happens outside the office!).
As a whole, we expect someone passionate, creative and able to work efficiently.
Expected background and technical skills
- 5+ years of marketing or operations management experience;
- Experience in business management, planning and financial overseeing ;
- Proven leadership experience;
- Local networking skills and the ability to make strong partnerships happen;
- Fluent in English;
- Relevant experience in consumer service marketing is a plus.
