Vacancy: Van Sales Driver
Duties and Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles to designated destinations for customer product deliveries.
• Drive safely and deliver products within deadlines.
• Promote and expand sales of Company Products and services in your respective regions.
• Promote market intelligence reports on daily/weekly/monthly basis. (This includes field visit reports).
• Provide a clear analytical data on focus of growth in your respective routes, E.g. customer conversion.
• Prepare daily orders for your routes.
• Provide technical support to farmers
• Analyze delivery address, determine appropriate routes and maintain schedule.
• Report any accidents or injuries to Supervisors immediately.
• Perform vehicle inspection such as checking fluid level and tire pressure.
• Notify supervisors about any major repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain the vehicle clean and safe.
• Collect payments from customer at the time of product delivery
• Work with support team to provide exceptional customer services and address customer concerns.
• Adhere to company operating policies and procedures.
• Maintain driving log, prepare vehicle performance forms and complete daily paperwork

Skills and Specifications

• A van driver must be honest and reliable to his employers.
• Van drivers must always be prepared to work hard for the team and create favorable impression of his employer organization to the clients.
• He must be of sound health as his job may require him to work during night shifts, long distance travel etc.
• He must undertake full responsibility for the security and safety of goods during transport.
• He must abide by all traffic rules and sound traffic practices all time.

Education and Qualifications

• Valid Driving license
• Valid AA CERTIFICATE
• Valid Good Conduct Certificate
• A van driver must have a valid commercial driving license.
• Good driving records are required for this job.
• 2 years of experience in commercial driving
• A high school diploma is adequate.
• They might need to undergo checks against criminal records, alcohol and drug abuse.
