Salary: 100K – 150K
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee HR management for the Tea Processing Factory
- Oversee and streamline recruitment and staff onboarding activities
- Advise management accordingly on HR matters
- Oversee HR planning, HR cost management and control
- Oversee and advise on staff welfare programs and schemes
- Payroll management and statutory returns
- Oversee training and development activities
- Manage performance management plans, reviews and improvement.
- Employee relations management
- Oversee and advise on industrial relation issues
- Implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Prepare and submit timely HR reports to management
- Maintain cordial relations with labour office and institutions
- Manage and document staff disciplinary cases, union meetings and staff records from recruitment to separation
- Must be 30 years and above
- At least a diploma in Human Resources (HR) or related
- At least 7 years continuous HR experience in a busy organization and managing many employees
- Membership with a professional body
- HR generalist skills preferred
- Experience as a manager in a factory or manufacturing setting an advantage
- Deep understanding of Kenya Labour Laws and Acts affecting Human Resource management
- Vast experience in employee relations, unions and working with labour offices
- Possess excellent computer, Ms. office and HRMIS skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Self-driven with people skills
- Mature and organized with excellent planning skills
