Location: Nairobi

Salary: KShs 30,000

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Market surveys and research for existing and new business.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
  • Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
  • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
  • Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
  • Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
  • Identify and resolve client concerns, customer care to meet their expectations
  • Follow up on all service contracts with the clients.
  • He has to take part in sales meetings and present reports about the sales and marketing figures.
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows etc
  • He has to take part in customer feedback surveys and work out ways to garner higher profits.
  • Follow-up for collection of payment
  • During Client visits generate cross/up sell leads.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Degree/Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Customer Care or any other business related course
  • 2 years experience
  • Those with experience in a similar industry will be an added advantage
  • Someone aggressive and with the sales passion
  • Willing to work under pressure and timelines
  • Ready to start immediately
  • Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
  • Experience in merchandisers and promotions will be an added advantage
  • Go getter who does not get stopped
  • Great ability to negotiate
  • Great rapport skills to inspire trust and willingness
  • Proficiency with a variety of computer software applications
  • Presentation Skills; Client Relationships; Emphasizing Excellence; High Energy Levels
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Should be a team player
