Location: Nairobi
Salary: KShs 30,000
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct Market surveys and research for existing and new business.
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
- Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
- Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Prepare paperwork to activate and maintain contract services.
- Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-up.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up and adherence to goals.
- Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
- Coordinate company staff to accomplish the work required to close sales.
- Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock.
- Identify and resolve client concerns, customer care to meet their expectations
- Follow up on all service contracts with the clients.
- He has to take part in sales meetings and present reports about the sales and marketing figures.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows etc
- He has to take part in customer feedback surveys and work out ways to garner higher profits.
- Follow-up for collection of payment
- During Client visits generate cross/up sell leads.
- Other duties as assigned
- Degree/Diploma in Sales and Marketing, Customer Care or any other business related course
- 2 years experience
- Those with experience in a similar industry will be an added advantage
- Someone aggressive and with the sales passion
- Willing to work under pressure and timelines
- Ready to start immediately
- Good interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills
- Experience in merchandisers and promotions will be an added advantage
- Go getter who does not get stopped
- Great ability to negotiate
- Great rapport skills to inspire trust and willingness
- Proficiency with a variety of computer software applications
- Presentation Skills; Client Relationships; Emphasizing Excellence; High Energy Levels
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Should be a team player
