Reports To: Business Development Executive
Urban Entrepreneurs Sacco Limited (UES) is a members’ owned innovative and friendly financial services company registered under the CO-OPERATIVE ACT in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Kenya, and was created to offer financial services in Kenya.
It renders these services from its base in Nairobi, Kenya.
Role Objective
To proactively recruit new members to the Sacco and sell it’s products across a large territory and form beneficial relationships with the key contacts in the assigned territory.
Ultimate success will come from nurturing repeat business and aggressively driving new business leveraging the Business Development, Inside Sales & Marketing Program functions
Duties and Responsibilities
- Achieving the membership target of 40 fully funded accounts per month
- Develop and manage productive working relationships with clients.
- Demonstrate products and services to existing/potential customers and assist them in selecting those best suited to their needs
- Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential.
- Develop clear and effective written weekly and monthly sales plans.
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
- Analyze any assigned territory/market’s potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers’ value to the organization.
- Create and manage a customer value plan for existing customers highlighting profile, share and value opportunities.
- Encourage the recruited members to continue saving and if possible increase the amount of deposit.
- Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Participates in trade shows and conventions as approved
- For membership recruited you are required to;
- ensure the necessary documents are filled in correctly and the required documents from the client submitted to the office
- follow up on the client to ensure they have fully deposited the agreed amount
- Prepare and submit the following reports
- Daily activity reports
- Monthly achievementWeekly progress report
- Quarterly review report

- Degree or Diploma in Marketing/Business/ or related field or equivalent education
- 2 years’ experience in Sales, involving achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales quotas
- Proven track record of successfully achieving KPIs and meeting/exceeding quota.
