Duties and Responsibilities

  • Planning and implementation of rehabilitation plans for clients
  • Application and removal of plaster and traction
  • Maintenance of records of procedures carried out on patients;
  • Counselling support to patients undergoing rehabilitation
  • Preparation of budgets
  • Any other duty as may be assigned by supervisors
Requirements for appointment
  • For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have
  • Be a Kenyan Citizen
  • Certificate/Diploma in Plaster Technology from a recognized institution
  • Registered by a regulatory body
  • Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to the National Values and Principles of Public Service Governance as espoused in the Constitution of Kenya 2030, Article 10 and 232

  • Specific duties will include the following among others:
  • Providing dental technology services to patients
  • Processing, verifying and maintaining information relating to Patients
  • Safeguarding and ensuring maintenance of equipment and appliances
  • Supervising and training of staff
  • Work at this level will mainly involve fabrications of models, simple dental prostheses and keeping good records pertaining to patients work.
  • Performing administrative duties

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Specific duties will include the following, among others:
  • Providing Radiographic services to patients
  • Processing, verifying and maintaining information relating to patients
  • Ordering and maintaining records of radiographic and photographic supplies requirements
  • Supervising of staff
  • Performing administrative duties
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
  • Be a Kenyan citizen
  • Certificate, Diploma or Degree in any of the following: Diagnostic Radiography/Medical Imaging Services/Ultra Sound Computerized Tomography/Magnetic Resonance Imaging/Mammography, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy ,Digital Medical Imaging or its equivalent of a recognized institution.
  • Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to the national values and principles of Public Service Governance as espoused in the Constitution of Kenya 2010, Articles 10 and 232.
  • Satisfy the requirements of Chapter six of the Constitution of Kenya
