Vacancy: Web Content Writer & Social Media Coordinator

Job Description:
  • Act as company ambassador / evangelist and assist in developing company’s online strategy to reach and attain new clients/customers, stir discussion, and drive traffic to company website and social media platforms.
  • Responsible for writing and publishing Web content; maintaining and updating Web pages/blogs; monitoring and responding to user-contributed website content; and participating in social media efforts for the company.Job Responsibilities:
  • Writes and posts content onto company’s Web pages and blog(s)
  • Contributes to/updates the company’s social sites like Facebook and Twitter
  • Moderates content as it is contributed to the website by external sources
  • Monitors social media outlets and responds on topics related to company / industry
  • Coordinate content creation & publishing of company newsletters (internal or external)
  • Prepare internal and external communications including announcements, press releases,
Job Requirements:
  • Strong creative writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Current university or college student pursuing a course either in journalism, English and other mass communication courses.
  • Experience in writing for the Web, content management and internet research.
  • Experience with social networks and implementation of social media marketing
  • Some knowledge of working with content management systems (CMS)
  • flair for writing with an understanding of what works on the internet.
  • An ability to work in a team with good communication skills.
  • An effective writing style that is fresh, consistent and customer friendly.
  • A knack for editing and proof reading with good research skills.
