Job Title: General Clerk

Our client is looking for a General Clerk to help run the daily operations of the firm.
Responsibilities:

  • Custodian of business records.
  • Ensure that quotations against requisition are sent on time.
  • Process account information, customer information, and a variety of other forms of documents by resolving inconsistencies and reviewing data for errors.
  • Ensure that all purchases are done as per laid down policies.
  • Expedite and follow up on delayed orders.
  • Review purchases and see that the vendors effect delivery on time.
  • Keeping records of tasks, files and proofread reports.
  • Attend to customers when need arises.
  • Performs any other relevant duties and special assignment as may be delegated by the supervisor.
Job Specifications
  • Minimum ‘O’ level education with at least KCSE Grade C or equivalent.
  • Accounting Technician proficiency will be an added advantage.
  • Length of experience: 1-2 years.
  • Computer proficiency.
Additional Skills Required:
  • Good communication skills-written & spoken.
  • Ability to work under minimum Supervision,
  • Demonstrate meticulous attention to details.
  • Added advantage – previous work experience in the stationery industry.
