A well-established Manufacturing company in Nairobi is looking for a motivated and result oriented candidates to fill the below position.

Reporting to the respective head, the position serves the company the purposes of managing daily movement of goods, safe guarding company assets and providing consultative sales approach while
building customer base and relationships with key organization correspondencesYou will work under minimal supervision, tight deadlines while ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Reporting to: Sales and Marketing Manager

Location: Nairobi

Salary: Shs50,000 – 80,000 negotiable depending on experience

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Managing a sales team
  • Setting goals in consultation with seniors and determine best ways to achieve
  • Coordinating with Dispatch Supervisor to ensure prompt delivery to customers and achievement of delivery targets.
  • Ensuring fast processing of orders to minimize pending orders.
  • Coordinating with Stores supervisor to reduce inventory levels
  • Analysis of existing LPOs to meet processing timelines and reduce complaints on unprocessed orders.
  • Ensuring prompt planning of orders and flow of information to respective department heads for processing
  • Listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale;
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
  • Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries;
  • Acting as a contact between a company and its existing and potential markets;
  • Gathering market and customer information;
  • Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
  • Attending team meeting and sharing best practice with colleagues.
  • Analyzing and sales reports and reporting to seniors on department performance
  • Evaluating department workers on a weekly basis.
  • Training other employees in the department
  • The successful candidate must have the following 
Key skills and Qualifications or its equivalent
  • Should have at least a diploma in the relevant field and above.
  • Should have at least 5years experience in sales and marketing
  • A background in ERP is an added advantage
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • He should be able to report to work early
  • High integrity and trustworthy person to handle confidential data
  • Should have Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both Numerical skills
  • Should be mature enough aged between 35 years and above
  • Should be able to relocate to Nairobi
