Our Client is a furniture outlet currently recruiting a Show Room Manager.
The Furniture Showroom Manager will sell office furniture to business and industrial establishments,
individuals at the customer’s place of business or in the showroom.
Roles
- Develops and maintains outstanding working relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction
- Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads
- Continually studies and learns latest enhancements and features of multiple furniture lines
- Displays or demonstrates merchandise, using samples or catalog, to develop customers’ product knowledge.
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained
- Estimates date of delivery to customer.
- Prepares reports of business transactions
- Works with Customer Service Representative, Designers and Project Managers to ensure constant communication and smooth delivery for various customers.
- Develops and maintains relationships with purchasing contacts.
- Investigates and resolves customer issues.
- Attends weekly branch meetings and annual company-wide sales and trade conventions.
- Actively pursues and develops sales leads through a number of channels
- Experience is a Similar role in Kenya or the Middle East
- Ability to oversee sales and operations support team
- Comfortable working in both office and warehouse
