If you enjoy the rewards of hard work and an environment that encourages open communication, you could be the right fit for our award-winning Digital Agency.Purpose of the Position: The Digital Content Creator & Social Media Manager creates, publishes and manages content for our clients across a mix of digital marketing channels and mediums.
The primary focus of this role is digital engagement with our clients’ customers and prospects on a daily basis, and acting as a liaison by responding to their inquiries, offering solutions and sparking conversations on Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Corporate Blogs, and more.This role supports the development and execution of all social media postings by working cross-functionally with various client departments to ensure newsworthy and real-time marketing elements are incorporated.
This role is also responsible for gathering and interpreting results of social media campaigns and sharing those results with clients.
The role also closely monitors all client brand activities and conducts research on digital and social media channels.
What You Will Be Doing
- Develop and maintain comprehensive social media strategies that define how social media marketing techniques will be applied to increase visibility and traffic across for clients’ and their brands
- Lead the development of clients’ social media management standards, policies and rules of engagement for social media
- Define key performance indicators and implement measurement, analytics, and reporting methods to gauge success
- Mentor and provide training to internal and external clients on best practices for creating, managing, monitoring, and developing content for digital channels and primarily social media
- Work with our clients to explore and identify ways to integrate social media into business strategies and marketing campaigns
- Apply marketing research and development methods to learn and understand emerging trends and technologies and to communicate this knowledge clearly and concisely
- Gather cross-functional content for release through digital and social media channels to include social offers and customer service oriented content
- Support the development and execution of the Digital and Social Media Calendars by working cross-functionally with various internal and external departments to ensure newsworthy and relevant elements are incorporated.
- Serve as a spokesperson for brand by interacting with customers and fans in real time and act as digital liaison by responding to customer inquiries, offering solutions and sparking discussion and engagement on social media channels.
- Stay current on industry trends and share industry research and competitive analyses with clients on a regular basis
- Maintain Social Media Content Calendars
- Maintain Digital Influencer list to build relationships and increase online share of voice for our clients
- Post scheduled information through social media channels and monitor comments for clients
- Prepare correspondence and other necessary communication, including word-processing, spreadsheet preparation, and report generation for client status reports in a timely manner.
- Provide social media support for clients
- Performing other work-related duties as assigned
