Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts). Primary job duty is to
sell technology software products and related services in a defined territory. Identifies, qualifies and closes new opportunities. Manages accounts including the entire sales process from business development prospecting and specifications through contract negotiations, signing, and post-sales support. Leverages the Oracle sales model to maximize revenue growth and increase local market share. Builds and expands business partner revenue and self sufficiency. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 8 years applicable experience including 7 years of technology sales experience. Ability to forecast, manage sales expenses, and successfully close new Oracle business. Business development, prospecting and presentation skills. Excellent communication skills and problem solving ability. Proven track record of exceeding sales objective and territory/account development. Experience as the focal point for clients for all sales and related issues. Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle*s competitors. Travel may be needed. Bachelor degree or equivalent. Data Integration Solution (DIS) Co-Prime Sales Representative
Location: Kenya
Reporting to Data Integration Solution (DIS) Sales Director, Sales Specialist has the responsibility to generate new license sales revenues in the Data Integration Co-Prime area. Main DIS products are Oracle GoldenGate (OGG), Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ), Oracle Active Data Guard (ADG), and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work towards annually agreed objectives generating and increasing new license sales revenues in the Data Integration Co-Prime area
• Work closely with License Sales, Sales Consulting, Marketing, Consulting, Alliances Channels and Partner Line of Businesses.
• Analyze market, customers, partners and competitor evolution critical success factors, sales strategies, market share, KPIs
• Design, execute and track business development campaigns.
• Organize and deliver sales trainings.
• Represent Data Integration Solution in external communications (seminars, speeches, workshop and conferences)
• Identify and work with prospects, customers and partners to develop opportunities, transferring to the sales teams at agreed levels of qualification for deal closing
• Defining appropriate Industry Value Propositions

• Identifying and working with the appropriate people in Oracle and the Customer
• Maintaining an understanding of competitive activity

Required Skills:
• Used to sell Data Integration solutions (products and services) or similar to top accounts directly or through the partners in Kenya
• Must have at least 10 years of successful sales experience
• Solution sales oriented
• Expert on Data Integration matters and Oracle competition – as an advantage
• Great communication& networking skills, able to work independently and in a team
• Willing to travel
• Fluent English
