Job Title: Legal ManagerProfile Introduction:
Our Client, an established Regional Insurance firm, which offers solutions to the fast growing Insurance sector; seeks to recruit a self-driven individual to the position of Legal Manager.
Role Profile: The successful candidate will ensure that all liability and third party claims are managed efficiently and in a cost effective manner thereby meeting the customer expectations and the Company’s Corporate Objectives.
This will be done by:
- Constantly monitor the claims processes and procedures are maintained at all times and ensure compliance to QOP and ISO 9001;
- Monitor and prevent fraud;
- Reduce costs by maximizing on in house settlements;
- Ensure that quality and timely service is offered to customers and that we maintain a cordial relationship with our customers;
- Constantly review reserves and ensure that adequate the estimates maintained are as accurate as possible and reflect the prevailing economic, legal and social environment;
- Budget sufficient financial resources for the section, monitor and control the internal costs of running and ensure that the department operates within the set budget;
- Ensure that recoveries are made promptly and within the specified time scale;
- Continuously monitor the performance of third party service providers and ensure that adhere to the set standards of service;
- Identify loss control opportunities and recommend corrective action and
- Effectively manage and motivate staff in the section.

- Basic computer skills, negotiation skills;
- Analytical Skills and
- Customer service.
- Law graduate from an accredited University;
- 5 years’ practicing experience and
- Advocate of the High Court.
