Dumaworks is recruiting a Key Account Acquisition manager for one of our clients.
Our client is the largest and safest online marketplace in Africa, where buyers and sellers meet and exchange everything from Fashion to Phones.

Job Description: As key account acquisition manager, you will be responsible for bringing on the top sellers in the country, and for developing and maintaining long term relationships with them
Responsibilities:
  • Successful acquisition of Key Accounts in the country
  • Promotion of our platform within the supply chain and key account seller ecosystem
  • Mapping of country supply chain for specific category and knowledge sharing with Seller Acquisition and Management teams
  • Analysis of data and industry trends to identify key products, categories and accounts to acquire
  • Responsible to meet the country acquisition targets for Key accounts
Profile requirements
  • Deep knowledge of supply chain in Kenya (e.g., For Electronics: who is importing the products, who are the distributors, wholesalers, retailers etc.)
  • 4+ year experience in Sourcing, Sales or Business Development.
  • A degree or higher in Sales & Marketing or any business related field
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with great presence and ability to ‘pitch the product’
  • Similar background of target Key Accounts
  • Understanding of local customs and clearing requirements
  • Pro-active attitude, able to work both independently and within a team
  • Demonstrable drive, energy and passion
  • Entrepreneurial mentality
  • Team Player
  • Proficiency in use of MS Office tools (especially excel)
