for frequent travel. You will be responsible for all operations and growth in our Kenya Branch. Your primary duties will include:
Building a customer service organization to support thousands of borrowers
Recruiting and training a team of top-quality employees.
Establishing and tracking performance metrics for customer happiness
Converting user feedback into effectively described new feature requests.
Carrying out business development with existing partners, and bringing new partners on board.
This position is based out of Nairobi, Kenya and requires a minimum 2 year commitment.

  • Proven leader. You’ve lead a team in completing complex projects. You know how to communicate goals, think through metrics, and keep your team organized. Your team members respect you and love working with you. You have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a start up and/or relevant field, and at least 2 years as a manager of a team.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills:
  • Knowledgeable about software development, user experience design, and product management
  • Expertise in financial services and mobile money usage patterns in the developing world
  • Experience managing teams in a cross-cultural environment across time-zones
  • Fluency or proficiency in Swahili
