Background: Jireh Management Consultancy (Jireh) is a Consultancy that primarily strengthens the systems, structures and capacities of organizations in corporate, government and private entities. Jireh conducts capacity assessments of organizations with a view to helping them address their immediate and long term needs

Position: We are looking for a Lead consultant with specialization in various sectors, that we can work with on a contractual basis to deliver assignments to our clients as they arise. Interested consultants should have prior experience as:
Senior Consultant or Consultancy Manager
Key responsibility Percentage of time
1. Strategy Development and Management
a) Participate in strategy development and planning
b) Develop consultancy content and tools
c) Conduct research, utilizing institution library, archives, and collections, and other sources of information, to collect, record, analyze, and evaluate facts
d) Assist in the designing of questionnaires and other survey methodologies
Bid Management
a) Actively seek and place bids by marketing Jireh on key online sites and development forums in the open marketplace
b) Developing proposals and tenders in response to bids
c) Carry out marketing for our services and secure jobs
3. Client Service Management
a) Ensure quality delivery of the consultancy assignment
b) Implement content for consultancy training and tools
c) Conduct organizational systems capacity assessments for clients
d) Develop and submit reports as required to clients
e) Perform assessment of the needs with the clients
4. Staff Development
a) Supervise the Associate consultants to ensure work is done as scheduled.
b) Mentor staff on proposal and bid development. 20%
20% Experience
Designing and implementing strategic plans
Managing the bid process, including securing bids
Overseeing client service delivery and relationship management.
The above must have experience in the following sectors:-

Senior Consultants- Over 5 years post qualification experience in the related sector and at least 3 years’ experience as a Team Leader in a previous assignment
Education
Masters in Development Management, Project Management, Business Administration ,Human Resource Management, Social Sciences, Statistics, Education Administration or related experience (in the above sectors)
Professional Qualification in related field
