Job Description
To develop, design and manage specific product features under the lending and cards portfolio ( CCPL, M&A) that meet client’s desired risk/investment performance requirements and increase bank’s share of client wallet.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Product Management
• Optimize existing product portfolio & bundled offerings through sustained activation & utilization activities.
• Manage compliance of PPGs & CADs and the control of programs.
• Develop and launch cross-product bundling propositions for deepening customer relationship and brand loyalty
• Work with Marketing on product marketing and branding.
• Identify new segments, channels or opportunities for product distribution and marketing.
• Work collaboratively with other business functions to enhance business opportunities through cross-sell and to resolve cross-functional operations and service issues.
• Ensure compliance product governance standards covering related E2E sales and service delivery & customer engagement and advisory process.
• Keep abreast with competitor activity
• Responsibility for product performance
• Establish and own governance for product advisory/sales specialists’ role qualifications, capacity planning & skill and knowledge certifications.
• Enable the frontline with the necessary product knowledge, customer engagement skills through provision of collaterals, tools, training support and scripts.
• Conduct consistent conversion of in-bound and outbound leads into sales.
Frontline Engagement
• Ensure that frontline staff is equipped with the required product training and sales coaching.
• Coordinate and drive the marketing of the product during Seminars/Customer Events.
• Provide timely and quality product advisory (including market view / updates) to the Relationship Managers on a regular basis.
Product and Process Governance
• Ensure compliance with all regulations and controls as set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities.
• Improve the end-to-end process for Retail Banking Product suite with focus on quality in delivery and cycle time.
• Ensure appropriate and adequate documentation is in place for process actions and is responsible for achieving and maintaining a satisfactory audit rating.
• Comply with all applicable money laundering prevention procedures and, in particular, report any suspicious activity to the Transaction Monitoring Unit.
• Adhere to laid out processes and procedures while completing transactions.
• Identify trends in errors and omissions resulting from routine transactions and proactively mitigate / change processes.
Qualifications & Skills
Functional
• Relevant depth of banking and lending industry experience.
• Undergraduate degree. Postgraduate will be an added advantage.
• Sound understanding of all business guidelines and compliance requirements and issues.
• In-depth understanding of key business drivers in the market with sound understanding of legal, political and economic situation/framework.
Personal
