Job Description
•Manage daily company operations and oversee planning for the use of materials and human resources in all operational sections
•Take lead position in Acquiring clients, Retaining current clients and day to day client management
•Act as a key point of contact to Pewin Cabs corporate clients
•Direct activities related to dispatching, customer service, routing, tracking vehicles, cleaning and maintenance of company vehicles and fleet management
•Plan, organize and manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements and meeting company service delivery promise
•Collaborate with other managers and staff members in order to formulate and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives.
•Effectiveness of the support team
•Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with HR, administrative and operational policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations.
•Ensure general adherence to company policies and standards of operation, grooming and personal hygiene requirements and safety rules in relation to the operations department
•Monitor spending to ensure that expenses are consistent with approved budgets.
•Direct and coordinate, through subordinates, activities of operations department in order to achieve effective and optimum use of equipment, facilities, and human resources.
•Analyze expenditures and other financial information in order to develop plans, policies, and budgets for increasing profits and improving services.
•Negotiate and authorize contracts with equipment and materials suppliers, and monitor contract fulfillment.
•Direct procurement processes, including equipment research and testing, vendor contracts, and requisitions approval.
•Recommend or authorize capital expenditures for acquisition of new equipment or property in order to increase efficiency and services of operations department.
•Prepare management recommendations, such as proposed fee and tariff increases, shift schedule changes or any arising operational issue with the aim of increasing efficiency in service delivery, profitability and improved employee welfare.
•Conduct employee training sessions; polices and standards of operations, employee orientation, quality improvement, job allocator system and company reward system. Formulate and implement operations strategies, goals and outputs in line with corporate strategies. Study the trends of supply and demand by customers and use this data to make the right operational decisions.
•Advise the Management on Operations strategy and its impact on company objectives; provide input into company objectives and whether or not they are realistic given the current and projected financial situation.
•Responsible for all operations reporting and documentations
•Formulating standard operating procedures for the Operations department and advice on other departmental SOPs that touch on operations
•Providing strategic leadership and guidance to achieve employee engagement and motivation
•Formulate and implement internal health and safety guidelines/procedures for the operations team to mitigate any risks and exposure to employees and manage medical costs
•Identify areas of opportunity through customer feedback, trends and competitive analysis and advice management on possible options to influence strategy and performance.
•Ensuring safety of the employee
•Timely communication of organization strategic direction to Operations departmental employees
•Research on market trends
•Dealing with queries and complaints in a clear and efficient manner
•Ensure client expectations are met to the highest degree
•Up sell / cross sell services to clients
•Address client concerns
•Building relationships with clients
