CEO – Pharmaceuticals
Our Client, a growing Retail Chain of Pharmacies in Nairobi is seeking to recruit a CEO to assume full responsibility for the strategy, operations and growth. The successful candidate MUST have a minimum of 10 year experience in a pharmaceutical company.
CEO Job Responsibilities:
Develop and propose strategic plans to advance the company’s mission and objectives.
Oversee the preparation of the budget, ensuring that expenditures are commensurate with the budgeted revenues and stay within limits approved by the board.
Maintain awareness of the competitive landscape, opportunities for expansion, customers, markets and new sector development.
Liaise with regulatory bodies with matters relating to statutory stores licenses and permits.
Oversee the recruitment process of staff; interviewing, hiring and training of employees.
Qualifications for Pharmaceuticals CEO Job
Must have a Master’s Degree.
At least 15 years working experience 5 of which must have been in a senior management position.
Experience in retail pharmacy, Pharmacy wholesaling or FMCG supply would be an added advantage.
Must have experience in strategic planning and execution.
Must have experience in change management with initiating, leading improvement programs, developing and implementing strategic plans and overseeing change.
Must have experience in project management, procurement sales and marketing and overseeing advisors and contractors.
Must have experience in dealing with diverse stakeholders.
Experience in cost control and commercial negotiations.
Monthly gross salary:Ksh. 400,000 /= (Approx. 4,444 USD)depending on experience
