International Business & Technical Consultants, Inc. (IBTCI), a U.S. based international development consulting company established in 1987, has worked in over 100 countries and has implemented over one hundred and fifty projects.
IBTCI has served governments, private sector companies and several donor agencies in the practice area of Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) across many sectors including education, health, economic growth and democracy & governance.
We are seeking consultants to conduct APHIAPlus Rift Valley, APHIAPlus Central, Eastern and APHIAPlus Western Kenya end of activity evaluation for USAID.
1) Team Leader (TL): The TL will be a local expert (Health / Population / Nutrition / HIV-AIDS Analyst) in public health with strong program management and team leadership experience, especially in managing evaluation teams in developing countries.
The incumbent will have a master’s degree in public health or a related field and significant experience in program management, which include ten years and above of extensive international experience related to health programs and at least seven years in evaluating donor funded activities is required.
S/he will have experience in leading large evaluation teams
2) Senior M&E Expert: The M&E Expert will be a senior local (Monitoring and Evaluation or Research Specialist) with a master’s degree in public health, applied statistics, biostatistics or health economics.
S/he will have significant M&E and research work experience in integrated HIV/AIDS, MNCH/FP/Nutrition/Malaria programming, with at least between 7 – 10 years’ experience in participatory evaluation methodologies.
Qualitative research experience using data analytical techniques that include ability to triangulate findings from different methods; and proof of participation in end of program evaluations is a must.
General Requirements:
The applicants MUST include four references (full name, title, contact details) from supervisors related to end-term evaluations; and links to or attachments of three end-term evaluation reports authored or co-authored by the applicant.
Must be Kenyan national.
Must be able to work to tight deadlines and fluent in spoken and written English.
Must be available on or around mid-April 2015 for approximately 60 calendar days.
