Airtel Kenya wishes to recruit the position of Head of Airtel Money Sales and Zonal Management within the Sales and Distribution function. This role will report directly to the Sales and Distribution Director.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Definition and execution of field sales strategy for Airtel Money
Manage the activation commission budget for Airtel Money
Supervise and guide the Zonal Business Managers in delivery of set targets by setting standards, priorities and work schedules per designated zone
Drive growth and retention of Airtel money agents
Provide inputs for new promotions/ products to the Product Manager within Airtel Money team
Coordinate with other stakeholders such as Trade Marketing, Airtel Money Finance, Business development and Operations to drive positive growth for the product in the retail market
Lead the national Airtel Money field sales team to deliver on set targets
Desired Skills and Experience
Qualifications and Competencies
Minimum degree in business or other relevant discipline, Master’s degree preferred
1-3 year’s sales experience and 1-3 years FMCG or telco experience preferred
3-5 year’s sales and management experience working with and motivating cross functional teams
Strong competency in Excel and data analysis
Self-starter, highly organized and collaboration minded, solutions and results driven
Strategic planning, relationship and project management
Ability to develop sales strategies to align to customer and segment needs
Excellent communication, coordination and presentation skills
Exemplary leadership and people management skills
Highly logical and systematic, team player, independent and fast learner
