Main Accountabilities

Surveying of site and preparation of detailed projects design for new factories, modification of existing factories, new roads & bridges, airstrips and domestic houses.

Regular safety inspection of the existing buildings, roads and bridges.

Surveying of site and preparation of detailed design for new/improvements in power houses.

Receiving Engineering Job Requisitions from units / departments for implementation.

Preparation of bill of quantities.


Issuing project progress and cost reports for budgeting and cost control.

Supervision of work progress on behalf of the units/departments.

Training and developing technicians and subordinates under the section.

To access & order materials, or contract works and manage multiple request for each particular jobs (capital / revenue).

Audit and inspection of civil works for departments / units and mitigate risk

Minimum Requirements

Degree in Civil/Building Engineering.

Atleast 2 years experience in a related field.
