Title: Process Specialist

Job Number: 130003SC

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Company Chief Engineer,

partnering with factory managers providing engineering support process improvements, in

Innovations Process Design, Development, manufacturing and automation.

Main Accountabilities

1.

Implement process control and automation improvements in manufacturing sites in liaison with the line and unit managers.

2.

Implement roll out of best operating practices in the operations across all units.

3.

Carry out engineering audit of the manufacturing processes for compliance with standards and report to line manager.

4.

Study production processes and develop improvement actions, submit reports to line and unit manager.

5.

Trouble-shoots manufacturing challenges and lead implementation of agreed solutions in liaison with line and unit managers.


6.

Implement commissioning activities for new and changed processes in manufacturing.

7.

In liaison with the Process/Projects Manager draw up engineering contracts and ensure their full compliance to the required quality and safety standards.

8.

Implement improvements in the manufacturing processes to improve product quality.

9.

Inspect and assess processes to monitor compliance with safety codes and other regulations; propose improvements.

10.

Implement standard operating procedures and specific work instructions for new processes in liaison with the line and unit managers.

Key Requirements

1.

Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Production Engineering or Chemical engineering.

2.

2 Years experience in food manufacturing and processing, with significant automated process control.

3.

Fully proficient in AUTOCAD.
